Toasty Alpha – Prototype 001


Video comparison – Static Camera, Moving Camera

With the shadow entity, camera and basic AI in place I have constructed the Prototype 001 scene. While all you can really do in this room is move around and knock things over(there is also some basic AI sound reaction, I will cover that here soon), already the game seems to have a great level of player feel and catharsis.

One particular thing I have noted is the value in the moving camera and how much more lively it makes the scene when combined with the fast moving shadow mechanic.
